Flowering Snowball Revisited
Years ago, 2011 to be exact, I found a sweet little curvy block in my Electric Quilt Program Block Library. It is called the Flowering Snowball.
Then in 2014 we did a little Sew Along! I wrote several posts and had a link for templates for the Flowering Snowball. The template is for a 12" block and you can copy it by following this link: The Flowering Snowball
You can find instructions for making the block, here: Sewing Curves and Piecing If you do a search for Flowering Snowball on the blog, you will find all the posts relating to this block.
Recently, I have been using Heather Ross' Sugar Plum to create a Christmas version of the Flowering Snowball. In this version, I am using 10" acrylic templates. I purchased my templates from quilttemplates.com . Of course, if you have the Electric Quilt Program, you can easily resize the block within the program.
Perhaps another Flowering Snowball Along is in order this Fall?!!!! I hope you enjoy making this delightful little block and let the Sunny Day gals know what you think about doing a SAL? Cheers!
