Little Red In The Woods
We are tickled to be able to share the fun things the Sunny Gals have been stitching with Little Red In The Woods. Little Red is the latest collection from Jill Howarth, Zippyboro, for Riley Blake.
As the name suggests, its all about Little Red Riding Hood....including grandma and the big bad wolf!
We had several projects in the works with this collection! All for gifting! And isn't that the most satisfying excuse to sew?
First up was a Prettified Pincushion using Aymi's pattern from the book, Patchwork Please! I have made more of these pincushions than I can count, but Little Red is perfect for fussy cutting. I lovethe way it turned out!
Another great project for fussy cutting is a clamshell pouch! Oh this turned out so cute!!! It will be perfect for my niece to keep her crayons and markers!
And finally, we put together a gift for baby Clara.
A baby quilt for her best dolly!
We decided to add some fun tabs at the borders of the quilt, a little lace trim on the pillow and quilted it with Valdani Perle Cotton. Isn't it sweet!
