We are tickled to be able to share the fun things the Sunny Gals have been stitching with Little Red In The Woods. Little Red is the latest collection from Jill Howarth, Zippyboro, for Riley Blake.  As the name suggests, its all about Little Red Riding Hood....including grandma and the big bad wolf! New Diamond Stocking Design

My original Diamond Stocking was quite a hit! The Sunny Gals have seen so many wonderful versions on Instagram. This year I decided to change it up a bit with a foundation paper pieced version! This version might be easier for those  who had a difficult time lining up those pesky diamonds. Pretty Pillowcases

It's so easy to make pretty pillowcases and they are generally less expensive than ready-made cases. Besides being economical, hand made pillowcases are lovely and wonderful to gift! Christmas is just around the corner! My Sunny pillowcases require just a couple of seams and I used french seams, so all the raw edges are covered. Encased seams are a wonderful finishing touch and avoids fraying seams and oodles of threads when washed. I have used a standard pillow form for this tutorial.
