Years ago, 2011 to be exact, I found a sweet little curvy block in my Electric Quilt Program Block Library. It is called the Flowering Snowball.  Then in 2014 we did a little Sew Along! I began the Carousel Quilt, by Everyday Quilts, several months ago. I purchased the pattern from @lizatbroderie. It is such a fun quilt with large multi wedge wheels and several borders!    A few days ago, I asked our Instagram friends for tips on organizing all the small things in your sewing room. Here's a quick easy make if you are looking for a Valentine's Day gift for a quilty friend. Sunny Heart Pincushion To begin, you will need: Copy of the Sunny Heart Two 5" squares for the top and the bottom A 4" scrap of fabric for the heart Four 3" X 5" rectangles for the sides Batting or fiberfill for stuffing Perle cotton or embroidery floss for embellishing Using your favorite disappearing marker, trace the heart template on the right side of your 'heart' fabric. TEMPLATES FOR MERRY MITTENS  REVERSE LETTERS Trace 5 mittens on the right side of your fabric and cut out on the traced line. I cut a piece of contrasting fabric for the cuff.
