Sugar Plum Sew Along - Week 4 - The Outer Circle
Wow! We are getting so much closer to a finished block! This week we will go over sewing the outer circle. You will need to cut 12 background pieces and 12 colorful triangles. Begin by piecing a background to a triangle piece. Once you have the pairs connected into a circle. Clip the inside curved edge to ease the outer ring around the center circle. Then pin the outer ring around the center swirl circle, taking care to match the seams. You may want to pin the entire circle, but I like to pin a few at a time....

Hand piecing is the purest form of quilting and I'm so glad I allowed myself the opportunity to grow in this direction. I hope you find the same joy. Schedule: February 10 - Week 1 - Gathering supplies. February 17 - Week 2 - Cutting February...
